Generator Installation - St Simons Island GA

Standby Generator Installation and Maintenance on St. Simons Island, GA. GenCo Generators serves the barrier-island communities of St. Simons (zip 31522) in Glynn County - the Golden Isles resort destination of estate homes, oceanfront properties, golf clubs, and tree-canopied neighborhoods tucked under live oaks.

Why St. Simons Homeowners Choose GenCo Generators

St. Simons is a 12-mile barrier island, which means every outage here has two hard facts working against it. First, the grid has to cross a causeway to get to you - when a storm takes down a single transmission line on the mainland, the whole island can go dark. Second, the hurricanes and tropical systems that push up the Georgia coast hit St. Simons before they hit anywhere else in Glynn County. A standby generator turns that vulnerability into a non-issue.

We install Generac Guardian and Kohler units specifically rated for coastal environments - corrosion-resistant aluminum enclosures, sealed electronics, and placement that accounts for storm surge elevation rules. On multi-million-dollar estates and older cottages alike, we respect the property: pad, landscape screening, fuel line routing, and HOA approvals are all handled by our team.
