Generator Service in Florida and Georgia

Installing a standby generator is only half the job. Keeping it ready for the next outage is the other half - and that is where GenCo Generators's specialized service team earns its reputation. Generators, it is all we do.

Generator Service - Done Right, Every Visit

A standby generator is a mechanical and electrical machine that sits outside for years between emergencies. Without professional maintenance, corrosion, rodent nests, battery failure, fuel contamination, and firmware drift can quietly turn a $10,000 investment into an expensive paperweight the day you need it most. GenCo's technicians keep Generac, Kohler, and other standby units in peak condition with two dedicated service tracks.

Our Two Service Tracks

Generator Maintenance

Preventative care. Scheduled visits. Our named 33-Point Preventative Maintenance On-Site Checklist covers every critical wear item - oil and filter, spark plugs, battery, visual inspection, rodent-nest check, RPM and voltage set, manufacturer firmware updates, exercise reset, and more. Annual, monthly, and our new 2026 ten-year maintenance plans are available. Manufacturer warranty compliance is built in.

Generator Repairs and Service

Diagnostic and corrective repair for any issue - whether your unit throws an alarm, fails to transfer, runs rough, or shuts down under load. We provide free quotes on repair calls and honor manufacturer warranties wherever possible. Storm season is the worst time to discover a failed generator, so we keep our schedule flexible and stock the parts that fail most often.

Why GenCo's Service Matters

• Specialists only. We service generators every day - not as a side business.
• Fully licensed gas AND electrical. No need to schedule separate trades for fuel-line or transfer-switch work.
• Warranty-authorized. As a Generac Premier Dealer and Authorized Kohler Installer, our warranty claims process is simple for you.
• Cost transparency. We review the scope of any non-warranty repair with you before we perform the work - no surprises.
• Coastal expertise. We know how salt air, humidity, and hurricane season stress generators along the Atlantic Coast. Our service plans are built for this region.

Service Area

We service generators throughout Northeast Florida - including Fernandina Beach, Yulee, Callahan, Hilliard, and the Jacksonville metro - plus Southeast Georgia cities including Brunswick, Kingsland, St. Marys, and St. Simons. See our complete service area.
